Published a paper! https://t.co/RH4GBChNmK We evaluated machine scoring for free-text responses in GM-ITE. Comparing human and machine scoring, we found minor discrepancies, mostly resolvable with better word lists. Machine scoring shows promise in reducing grading costs.
