The development of My NRMN, as discussed by Ahmed et al [7], describes the importance of incorporating social capital and social networks while building and creating this platform. The connections built within My NRMN increase an individual’s social capital, specifically in the biomedical sciences, enabling them to move further in their education and career through the “informational, emotional, and instrumental resources and supports” [7].
