Using an automated computation approach, one of our aims was to assess whether Wikipedia articles are suitable as patient education materials. Several studies have analyzed the readability of health-related Wikipedia pages. Before this study, we conducted a systematic literature review to assess how readability metrics have been used to evaluate health-related Wikipedia articles.
