We analyzed categorical data using a chi-square test or Fisher exact test, as appropriate, and continuous data using a Student t test. We also used a multivariable logistic regression model, adjusting for age, sex, diabetes mellitus, and chronic kidney disease, to evaluate the association between our CDS intervention and inappropriate urine culture orders and unnecessary antibiotic use. All analyses were conducted in STATA/BE (version 18; Stata Corp).

Data analysis used the χ2 test, Welch t test, binary logistic regression analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis, to compare the PPT and CRT between the intervention and control groups.
Ethical approval for this study was obtained from the Research and Ethics Committee at Zhejiang University Affiliated Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital (registry 2023-850-01).
