Outcomes of Implementing a Webinar-Based Strategy to Improve Spinal Cord Injury Knowledge and Community Building: Convergent Mixed Methods Study

The webinars were co-designed by persons with SCI (ie, lived experience experts) and clinical experts so that both firsthand and clinical perspectives were shared during each webinar. All webinars were recorded and posted on a dedicated You Tube channel and are open to the public.

Defining a Role for Webinars in Surgical Training Beyond the COVID-19 Pandemic in the United Kingdom: Trainee Consensus Qualitative Study

However, the COVID-19 pandemic presented a new opportunity for the use of webinars to provide remote learning for surgical trainees, and, as a result, they have become a popular and increasingly prevalent training tool [4]. One review of the use of webinars for training in plastic surgery indicated an increase of 12,017% in the number of webinars relevant to this specialty post lockdown in the United Kingdom on the March 23, 2020 [4].
