A Chatbot-Based Version of a World Health Organization–Validated Intervention (Self-Help Plus) for Stress Management in Pregnant Women: Protocol for a Usability Study

A Chatbot-Based Version of a World Health Organization–Validated Intervention (Self-Help Plus) for Stress Management in Pregnant Women: Protocol for a Usability Study

This study is positioned within the design and development cycle of the obesity-related behavioral intervention trials (ORBIT) model [26], specifically the refine phase. It involves delivering material based on SH+ in text, audio, and video formats by a virtual coach (ie, a digital assistant, identified as ALBA) implemented within the Tre C Ricerca (Tre C Research) app.

Automating Colon Polyp Classification in Digital Pathology by Evaluation of a “Machine Learning as a Service” AI Model: Algorithm Development and Validation Study

Automating Colon Polyp Classification in Digital Pathology by Evaluation of a “Machine Learning as a Service” AI Model: Algorithm Development and Validation Study

This led to the formation of our project, aiming at evaluating an MLaa S model, trained on our own institutional data, to evaluate both the ease of model development as well as model performance when compared to pathologist interpretation. Alberta Precision Laboratories has a robust digital pathology slide set, used primarily for teaching. This slide set contains images of previous cases (hematoxylin and eosin–stained histology slides) that have been scanned using an Aperio GT450.

Growth and Development Status of Children Post–COVID-19 Infection: Cross-Sectional Questionnaire Study

Growth and Development Status of Children Post–COVID-19 Infection: Cross-Sectional Questionnaire Study

To date, no studies have comprehensively addressed the effects of COVID-19 on children’s growth and development. This study aims to identify factors associated with post–COVID-19 growth and development in children. This was an analytical cross-sectional study. The study sample included 292 children selected with the purposive sampling method.

Developing and Integrating Digital Sources in an Accessible and Sustainable Online Platform for Adolescents and Young Adult Cancer Survivors: Collaborative Design Approach

Developing and Integrating Digital Sources in an Accessible and Sustainable Online Platform for Adolescents and Young Adult Cancer Survivors: Collaborative Design Approach

A project group coordinated the development of the “young and cancer” platform by taking part in monthly collaborative design meetings, once per 1 or 2 months, mostly online via Microsoft Teams. The project group consisted of adolescents and young adults with lived experience, a project leader, a project coordinator, a medical editor, and a business development manager.

User-Driven Development of a Digital Behavioral Intervention for Chronic Pain: Multimethod Multiphase Study

User-Driven Development of a Digital Behavioral Intervention for Chronic Pain: Multimethod Multiphase Study

Collaboration with end users to tailor the treatment is critical in the development phase to emphasize person-centeredness [20,21]. Furthermore, end-user engagement throughout the development process is essential for creating effective digital health interventions [22] and increasing ease of use [23].

Self-Determined Health App Evaluation Questionnaire Development: Mixed Methods Study

In this context, we would like to appeal to the responsibility of app providers to make a positive contribution to societal challenges A white paper in line with “Good App Development Practice” or regional requirements from pp stores could introduce even quality-assurance restrictions, particularly regarding regulatory frameworks (eg, explicitly demanding a legally compliant imprint) as collected in the results of this work.

Proposal for Using AI to Assess Clinical Data Integrity and Generate Metadata: Algorithm Development and Validation

Proposal for Using AI to Assess Clinical Data Integrity and Generate Metadata: Algorithm Development and Validation

Furthermore, the quality scale employed was established as binary, using 0 and 1; a more refined granularity of the quality scale is pending further development. Future work aims to enhance model performance by applying feature engineering, using data augmentation techniques, and investigating possible adjustments in model selection. Despite current limitations, even imperfect predictive models are valuable as they direct manual review efforts, reduce workload, and improve overall data quality assessment.

Understanding Barriers to Home Safety Assessment Adoption in Older Adults: Qualitative Human-Centered Design Study

Understanding Barriers to Home Safety Assessment Adoption in Older Adults: Qualitative Human-Centered Design Study

This study aimed to (1) identify specific barriers perceived by community-dwelling older adults in accessing and implementing home safety assessments and modifications, (2) explore attitudes of health care professionals and additional stakeholders toward home safety assessments, and (3) identify novel design opportunities to guide the development and implementation of more effective home safety assessment techniques and practices.

An Online Family Literacy and Wellness Program for Latino Dual Language Learners: Pilot Randomized Waitlist Controlled Trial

An Online Family Literacy and Wellness Program for Latino Dual Language Learners: Pilot Randomized Waitlist Controlled Trial

Several programs are designed to be embedded within early childhood settings to promote early language development among DLLs [13,14]. However, early childhood interventions can simultaneously promote both physical and academic school readiness. Interventions focused on family literacy offer a clear example. Family literacy can be defined as the way families use literacy in their homes and communities, including during typical routines [15-17].
