Evaluation of the Clinical Nursing Effects of a Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing Program Based on Care Pathways for Patients With Type 2 Diabetes: Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Clinical Trial

According to the Guideline for the Prevention and Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in China (2020 Edition) [1], the prevalence of diabetes in China has surged from 0.67% in 1980 to 11.2% in 2015-2017 [2,3]. Application of Behavior Change Techniques and Rated Quality of Smoking Cessation Apps in China: Content Analysis

In China, the widespread adoption of mobile technology, with about 1.1 billion mobile web users in 2024, has led to the rapid growth of mobile apps. Public awareness of health has increased, leading to greater adoption of health-related apps for services such as telemedicine and chronic disease management (300 billion in 2022 to 365 billion in 2024) [12]. There were several smoking cessation apps available in China [13].

Prompt Framework for Extracting Scale-Related Knowledge Entities from Chinese Medical Literature: Development and Evaluation Study

This study used only publicly available published papers from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure, which consist of academic literature and do not contain real patient information. Since the data is publicly accessible and does not involve human participants or private data, ethical approval was not required. Due to the lack of annotated datasets for knowledge entity recognition in Chinese medical scales, we constructed a manually annotated corpus from full-text medical journal papers.

Promoting Public Engagement in Palliative and End-of-Life Care Discussions on Chinese Social Media: Model Development and Analysis

Promoting Public Engagement in Palliative and End-of-Life Care Discussions on Chinese Social Media: Model Development and Analysis

Despite its importance, global public awareness and knowledge about PEo LC is limited [2-4], especially in China. Within the context of traditional Chinese culture, discussions about death and dying have historically been considered taboo [5]. As a result, individuals nearing the end of their lives often face societal and familial moral constraints, hindering their ability to autonomously make end-of-life decisions [6]. China has the largest aging population, with a notably increasing rate [7].

Associations Among Online Health Information Seeking Behavior, Online Health Information Perception, and Health Service Utilization: Cross-Sectional Study

In China, which is the leading market for internet users, the online penetration rate was 78% in June 2024, with 1.099 billion users [2]. There is no doubt that the internet has become the most common resource for health information due to the widespread use of smartphones. Our previous study found that even in rural and remote areas in China, 47.27% of the residents obtained health-related information or services through the internet [3].

Correlation Between the Online Visiting Time and Frequency Increase in Telemedicine Services Offered by Health Care Providers Before, During, and After the COVID-19 Pandemic in China: Cross-Sectional Study

Telemedicine in China developed early since the first remote consultation case in the mid-1980s, and the “Opinions on Promoting Telemedicine Services in Medical Institutions” policy issued in 2014 by the Chinese government accelerated its development [17.] In 2017, telemedicine platforms had been established in 22 of 34 provincial administrative regions in China that covered 13,000 medical institutions, which indicated that a telemedicine service system had been formed already [17,18].
