This investigation was a mixed methods replication study expanding on a previous study by Concannon et al [1]. Their original work examined an immersive virtual reality (VR) simulation for occupational therapy (OT) students preparing for a clinical exam, observing a notable reduction in state anxiety 1 week before the objective structured clinical examination (OSCE).
