A Venomics Approach to the Identification and Characterization of Bioactive Peptides From Animal Venoms for Colorectal Cancer Therapy: Protocol for a Proof-of-Concept Study

The purification strategy will be similar to that described by Banerjee et al [12,13]. At each step of purification, we will check for cytotoxic activity, employing the MTT assay to identify the fraction in which the BAP is present. The purified BAP fractions will be collected, lyophilized, and stored at −20 °C until further use. Under Aim 1, once we have screened all the venom fractions, we will analyze the hits that we have achieved.

We firmly believe that the versatility of both the pedagogical framework, and the proposed change management framework to implement it, will allow anatomy instructors to integrate the framework into any CBMC milieu.
