A Bayesian Network Analysis of the Diagnostic Process and its Accuracy to Determine How Clinicians Estimate Cardiac Function in Critically Ill Patients: Prospective Observational Cohort Study

Bayesian networks are probabilistic models that represent the conditional (in)dependence relations between a set of variables in the form of a directed acyclic graph. In the graph, each variable is represented as a node and the directed edges (arcs) connecting the nodes represent the conditional dependency relations among the variables.
