The study included those who were working in the National Center of Public Health Laboratories as well as three of the main public laboratories (Al-Thawra, Al-Jomhory, and Al-Kuwait) and three of the main private laboratories (Saudi Germany, University of Science and Technology, and Azal). Staff who were not involved in processing laboratory samples, such as administrative staff, were excluded.

There was an increase in the vaccination coverage in most governorates between 2011 and 2014, except for some governorates such as Al Jawf and Sa’dah. With the eruption of war in 2015, there was a marked drop in the vaccination coverage in some governorates such as Al Jawf, Sa’dah, Lahj, and Taiz. On the other hand, some governorates showed an increase in the coverage (eg, Ibb, Raymah, and Sana’a governorates).
