Budgetary decisions in terms of the employed staff, budgetary allocations in infrastructure, intrinsic motivation, or IT- and business strategy were reported to be influential for the occurrence of workarounds.

As this study assessed the outcomes of the W8 Buddy tool used as part of the existing tier 3 service, we did not collect information on medication changes that future studies should capture.
