Flu Mob is a digitally integrated syndromic surveillance system that integrates the ubiquitous access to the internet and the simple portability of smartphones. Flu Mob was developed using a mobile-based participatory epidemiological approach that relies on crowd involvement for disease surveillance and control through mobile technologies.
