Thematic analysis was conducted following the 6-step framework by Braun and Clarke [93] to identify and analyze patterns in the data. First, the researchers familiarized themselves with the data by reading the transcripts and notes taken during the interviews and FGs multiple times.
IBS analyzed the interview transcriptions (n=25) to identify quotations about what athletes with CAD find important in life and care.
