All the analyses were conducted using R (version 4.1.2; R Foundation for Statistical Computing) and RStudio (Posit PBC). To perform the EFA analyses, the Lavaan package [46] was used, which incorporates the most up-to-date estimators for categorical variables.
This study was approved by the Ethics Committee on Non-Biomedical Experimentation and Genetically Modified Organisms (CEENB-GMOs) of the University of Cadiz (005_2024).

AUROCs with 95% CIs were calculated using R (version 4.4.0; R Foundation) with the p ROC (version 1.18.5) package. Sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value were calculated across a range of cut points.
Subgroup analyses were conducted to assess model performance across sex, race, ethnicity, and age. Differences in patient characteristics were assessed using chi-squared tests for categorical variables and Mann-Whitney U tests for age.
