Chi-square tests compared proportions for categorical variables between international and US eyelid surgeons. Between 2013 and 2023, the top 5 destinations for Americans seeking eyelid surgery abroad were South Korea, Mexico, Canada, Turkey, and China (Multimedia Appendix 1). Despite 118% growth in blepharoplasty searches, interest in eyelid surgery abroad remained steady (Figure 1).

Data will be inspected for outliers, and descriptive analyses of baseline differences in sociodemographic and vaping-related characteristics between the VR group and the control group will be conducted using t-tests or chi-square tests, as applicable. We will examine differences in key baseline characteristics (eg, gender distribution between groups) so that they may be covaried in analyses.

Mind-body exercises, which engage the mind to influence bodily functions, are popular among older adults, partly due to cultural preferences in certain populations.
