A total of 255 respondents recruited by SMIs took the baseline survey: 82.4% (n=210) of the respondents identified as women, and 68.2% (n=174) identified as Black (Table 2). In total, 64.3% (n=164) of the respondents identified as Black women, confirming our ability to reach our target audience. The respondents had a high level of formal education, with 69.0% (n=176) having a bachelor’s degree or higher. A total of 101 respondents took the follow-up survey.

Their method outperformed 3 baseline approaches, namely frequency-based, graph-based, and K-means centroid-based extractive summarization, demonstrating better content preservation and semantic alignment with the original notes.
In the study by Alsentzer and Kim [38], they explored extractive summarization of discharge notes from the MIMIC-III database.

Terminology and Definitions of Racial Health Equity in Prominent Health Websites: Systematic Review
Reasons for exclusion were non–US-based organizations (n=7), state health organizations (n=15), for-profit health organizations (n=10), universities (n=5), and hospitals (n=4). We excluded 10 additional websites after full screening of the website because the mission of the organizations was not within the scope of our study (n=6), could not be accessed (n=2), or was a university center (n=2).

The number of participants analyzed (n=28) was relatively small since it was chosen to be powered primarily for the analysis of ICC estimation in patients with moderate AD. Still, the sample size is comparable with other studies of nocturnal scratching [10-12], and this study was unique in that rather than 1 or 2 nights of collected IR video, participants collected, on average, 8 nights of IR video over the 4-week observation period.
