Assessing the Fit of a Digitally Delivered National Diabetes Prevention Program Among Rural Living Adults: Qualitative Study

Focus groups were conducted in this cross-sectional qualitative study to gather information on a digitally delivered National DPP lifestyle change program for rural living residents by distance learning, where Extension personnel delivered live sessions over Zoom or online, asynchronously by a university research staff member via a private Facebook group (NCT 05387434). A comparison of intervention components in the pilot trial is provided in Table 1.

A Novel Framework to Assess Clinical Information in Digital Health Technologies: Cross-Sectional Survey Study

This study was conducted as a web-based cross-sectional survey of health care professionals across the United Kingdom who use Systm One EHRs (The Phoenix Partnership Ltd). The cross-sectional survey approach allowed the assessment of the applicability, internal consistency, and construct validity of the CLIQ framework. The web-based approach offered a convenient, affordable, and pragmatic way of conducting a study and collecting data.

Third, they considered outcomes at the longest follow-up reported, which for the PACE trial meant results were confounded by cross-over. Finally, the guideline panel rejected evidence from Cochrane reviews because they did not report on mortality—an outcome that Cochrane review authors did not view as relevant for trials of CBT or GET [55]. Our analysis suggests the updated NICE guideline was well-received by patients and may be associated with the increase in positive tweets at this time.

Frailty, Fitness, and Quality of Life Outcomes of a Healthy and Productive Aging Program (GrandMove) for Older Adults With Frailty or Prefrailty: Cluster Randomized Controlled Trial

Frailty, Fitness, and Quality of Life Outcomes of a Healthy and Productive Aging Program (GrandMove) for Older Adults With Frailty or Prefrailty: Cluster Randomized Controlled Trial

There were a few multifaceted studies [26-28] but cross-study comparison was difficult due to their different designs and the lack of frailty as an outcome. The Hatoyama Cohort Study [27] found that resistance exercise in combination with nutritional education and psychosocial programs for 3 months successfully reduced the prevalence of frailty by 24%. Our study further added that the sequence of intervention components, if not delivered concurrently, might not make a significant difference.
