A systematic review by Chang et al [5] highlighted the potential of gamified interventions to enhance exercise endurance and Qo L among patients with COPD, especially those incorporating telemonitoring, web-based tools, and virtual reality (VR). VR as a vehicle for PR has a growing evidence base; for example, Liu et al [2] conducted a meta-analysis to explore VR’s role in COPD management and found that VR-assisted PR can improve lung function and exercise capacity.
