HIV Incidence and Associated Risk Factors Among Young Men Who Have Sex With Men in Tianjin, China: Retrospective Cohort Study

HIV Incidence and Associated Risk Factors Among Young Men Who Have Sex With Men in Tianjin, China: Retrospective Cohort Study

Our study is the first long-term cohort study to assess the incidence of HIV and its associated factors among YMSM in Tianjin. The HIV incidence identified in this study was similar to the incidence among MSM under 24 years old (2.63/100 PYs) in Shanghai, published in 2019 [17]. This study found that the incidence of HIV among YMSM in Tianjin showed a stable trend from 2017 to 2022 and was maintained at an elevated level.

Assisted Reproductive Technology and Risk of Childhood Cancer Among the Offspring of Parents With Infertility: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Assisted Reproductive Technology and Risk of Childhood Cancer Among the Offspring of Parents With Infertility: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

As ART usage increases, monitoring the long-term health risks associated with it, particularly childhood cancer, becomes crucial [5]. The relationship between ART and childhood cancer has been widely studied, but the results remain controversial due to inconsistent findings [6,7]. One of the key reasons for this inconsistency is the use of different reference groups. Few studies distinguish between children born to parents with infertility and those born to parents who conceived naturally [5,8].

A Narrative Review to Identify Promising Approaches for Digital Health Interventions to Support Emotion Regulation for Adolescents With Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

A Narrative Review to Identify Promising Approaches for Digital Health Interventions to Support Emotion Regulation for Adolescents With Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

Though results generally suggested that these types of nonpharmacological interventions could improve emotion regulation in young people with ADHD, they noted several important limitations with the study designs such as small sample sizes, lack of randomization, issues with emotion regulation measurement, and lack of evaluation of medium- to long-term effects. In addition, only 1 study was focused on adolescence, and the predominant focus was on the age range of 6-13 years.

Estimation of Machine Learning–Based Models to Predict Dementia Risk in Patients With Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Diseases: UK Biobank Study

Estimation of Machine Learning–Based Models to Predict Dementia Risk in Patients With Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Diseases: UK Biobank Study

Nevertheless, the long-term risk of dementia progression (5 or 10 years) in patients with ASCVD remains uncertain. In this study, we used comprehensive phenotypic and follow-up data from a cohort of over 500,000 UK Biobank participants to develop an ML-based model capable of predicting the 5- or 10-year risk of incident dementia in specific patients with ASCVD.

Smart Pharmaceutical Monitoring System With Personalized Medication Schedules and Self-Management Programs for Patients With Diabetes: Development and Evaluation Study

Smart Pharmaceutical Monitoring System With Personalized Medication Schedules and Self-Management Programs for Patients With Diabetes: Development and Evaluation Study

Long-term medication and lifestyle changes are necessary for the successful management of both type 1 and type 2 diabetes [2]. However, the low success rate of diabetes self-management reflects some of the burdensome drug regimens and side effects [3]. A study pointed out that approximately 43.4% of patients with diabetes in low- and middle-income countries fail to adhere to their prescribed treatments, resulting in adverse health outcomes [4,5].
