In total, 7 studies conducted between 2018 and 2023 were included, with 5 from the United States (Kar et al [29-31], Zhang et al [32], Edalati et al [33]), 1 from China (Shen et al [34]), and 1 from Taiwan (Chang et al [35]). This investigation represents a significant achievement as it constitutes the inaugural evaluation of the quality of online pharmacy apps in Pakistan through the utilization of a mobile app grading scale developed by Stoyanov et al [14]. In this comprehensive study, a meticulous analysis was undertaken of the pharmacy apps available in Pakistan; as Amor-García et al [12] did with genitourinary tumor apps, we chose and downloaded our apps using both the Google Play Store and the i OS App Store.

Consistent with earlier studies, such as Zhang et al [44], the app demonstrated potential in improving adolescents’ mental health outcomes by providing accessible and flexible therapeutic tools. Previous work has highlighted the importance of user-friendly interfaces in promoting app adherence [45], and this study reinforces those conclusions.

The Role of AI in Nursing Education and Practice: Umbrella Review
Gonzalez-Garcia et al [45] demonstrated meticulous attention to detail, using dual independent data extraction and rigorous appraisal methods. Similarly, Yasin et al [41] leveraged PRISMA-Sc R (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Extension for Scoping Reviews) guidelines to enhance reliability.
In contrast, Seibert et al [43] and Rony et al [46] provided limited details on the appraisal of included studies, raising questions about the reliability of their findings.
