This accomplishment follows a selective re-evaluation process, where a limited number of Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) journals were considered for inclusion. To be eligible, journals needed to rank among the top three in their respective categories based on the latest Journal Citation Reports (JCR) data. The acceptance of JMIR Medical Education into SCIE underscores its exceptional quality and impact, demonstrated by its outstanding performance across 24 quality and 4 impact measures. Notably, this milestone affirms the journal's excellence and leadership.
